Pergamon Museum

Collection of Classical Antiquities

The collection contains art from ancient Greece and Rome - architecture, sculpture and vases, inscriptions, mosaics, bronzes and jewellery. It is currently displayed in two locations: the Pergamon Museum and the ground floor of the Altes Museum.

Museum of Islamic Art

In its permanent exhibition in the south wing of the Pergamon Museum, the Museum of Islamic Art presents the artworks of Islamic peoples from the 8th to the 19th centuries. The geographical scope of the collections stretches from Spain to India, with particular strengths being the Near East, including Egypt and Iran.

Museum of Near Eastern Antiquities

The Museum of Near Eastern Antiquities stands alongside the Louvre and the British Museum as one of the world's major collections of oriental antiquities. 2,000 square metres of exhibition space provide an insight into 6,000 years of history, culture and art in the Near East.
